Who we are

Bartlett IL Local Guide (bartlettguide.com) is an independent local guide run by Suraj Singh, a Bartlett, Illinois resident. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.

Information you give us

• Quote and contact forms. When you request a quote or send a message, we collect what you enter: name, email address, phone number, service details, and your message. This is used only to respond to you — the site operator receives a notification email, and you receive a confirmation email (at most one per email address per 7 days).
• Contact page. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email and used only to reply.
• Events digest subscription. If you subscribe to the weekly events email, we collect your email address, optional name, and which areas you want (Bartlett, South Elgin, Streamwood). It is double opt-in: you must click the confirmation link in our email before receiving anything. The digest goes out roughly weekly; every email identifies Bartlett Guide as the sender and includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed addresses are kept only to honor the opt-out.

We do not sell, rent, or share this information with marketers or data brokers.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that measures aggregate page views without tracking cookies or individual visitor profiles.
• Spam protection. Form submissions briefly record the visitor's IP address for rate limiting (to block spam bots). It is not used for tracking or advertising.
• Cookies. The site itself sets no cookies.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept as business records so past conversations can be referenced. Confirmation emails are limited to at most one per email address per 7 days to prevent duplicate emails.

• You can ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of information you submitted — use the contact page.
• You can browse the site without submitting any form; nothing personally identifying is collected from casual visitors.

Children

This site is a general local guide and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
